Advancing Psychology for a Better South Carolina

Publications

The South Carolina Psychological Association publishes several forms of media to meet the needs of our members. All are intended to benefit the members and each are designed based upon input from members.

FEEDBACK

Feedback began as a means to reach members and provide information. With the technology age making electronic newsletters more immediate and efficient, FEEDBACK has begun to be reinvented. The editors of FEEDBACK are working to make the switch from an information news publication to a professional journal. We welcome contributions of professional research articles. To view the current issue of FEEDBACK, please click here. Members will be prompted to login.  To view past issues of FEEDBACK, please click here.

EClips

EClips is an electronic news-clipping service provided to SCPA members twice a week.

If you are not receiving EClips and are a current member please send an email to tpa_dwhite@att.net and request to be on the email list. Please provide the email address that you would like to have the e-news delivered to if it is different from the requesting email.

Private Practice E-news

This quarterly e-news is delivered to members that have requested updates in issues that are specific to private practice. In this newsletter we will cover business operation issues, marketing resources, patient resources and other news appropriate to these practitioners.

Academician E-news

This quarterly e-news is delivered to members that have requested updates in issues that are specific to those working in the academic setting. In this newsletter we will cover items specific to professors, school psychologist and other news appropriate to these professionals.

If you would like to receive this e-news or make an editorial contribution to an edition, send an email to tpa_dwhite@att.net and request to be on the email list. Please provide the email address that you would like to have the e-news delivered to if it is different from the requesting email.

Legislative Alerts

Legislative Alerts are distributed via email when there is an issue that requires action or attention. These are not sent on a regular timeline but on an as-need basis. The issues can be on a local, state or federal level. The intention is to get psychologists from all areas of practice involved to create a consistent and loud voice to our legislators so we can see laws and regulations that are favorable to the profession as a whole.

If you would like to receive legislative alerts, send an email to tpa_dwhite@att.net and request to be on the email list. Please provide the email address that you would like to have the e-news delivered to if it is different from the requesting email.
