Greenville Health System and Neuropsychology Department of Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital are pleased to announce a full-time position opening for a Rehab/Clinical Neuropsychologist on the inpatient rehabilitation team. The Neuropsychology Department provides care to patients across the GHS system, spanning acute care consults to outpatient treatment. The Inpatient Neuropsychology Service provides assessment, intervention, education and behavioral management services to patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders. The patient population served includes those in acute stages of medical and neurological illness, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury and amputation. While the role is primarily focused upon inpatient intervention, approximately 20-25% of the provider’s time will also be spent conducting comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological evaluations on adult patients with diverse disorders, including neurodegenerative disorders, movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, traumatic brain injury, and psychological disorders.
The successful applicant will have strong clinical experience with a wide variety of disorders and excel in a collaborative team environment. To be considered for the position applicants must have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with additional experience and specialization in rehabilitation and neuropsychology. Completion of a two year formal post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology is strongly desired. Applicants must be eligible to obtain licensure as a Psychologist in South Carolina. Eligibility for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology is highly desirable.

Essential Job Functions:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults for presenting concerns including ADHD, learning disorders, mood concerns, etc.
• Generate in-depth reports that provide complete picture of patient functioning and demonstrate thorough analysis of data, including standardized test results, clinical and collateral interviews, observations, etc.
• Develop and present an extensive list of concrete recommendations to assist patients with diagnoses including ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional and personality difficulties, career readiness, etc.
• Conduct detailed assessment feedback appointments and ensure patients and/or families have an understanding of reports and recommendations provided
• Engage in consultation roles involving IEP/504 planning and meeting attendance
• Promote and grow the assessment division through speaking engagements and other marketing efforts
• Function as vital part of a team
• Provide leadership to assessment team, including learning specialists and administrative staff
• Collaborate with staff, teachers, parents, and other professionals to accomplish assessment and treatment goals
• Provide individual counseling (if desired)
• Education: Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology from an APA Accredited Program; completion of an APA Accredited Internship
• Licensure status: Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in South Carolina

Neuropsychologist Wanted- Tidewater Neuropsychology
Tidewater Neuropsychology is a private practice located in Mount Pleasant, SC and serves the greater Charleston and South Carolina areas. We have space available for rent for a psychologist or licensed counselor.
We are also looking for a motivated neuropsychologist to join this assessment-based practice. Our patient population includes ages 6 years through late adulthood requires comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations assessing a variety of disorders including neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular disease, seizures, movement disorders, pre-spinal cord stimulator trials, traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders, and psychological disorders. Qualified candidates must be licensed or license eligible in South Carolina with some clinical experience. A doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology is required and completion of a two-year formal postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology is preferred. Current fellows are welcome to apply. Applicants must be willing to accept most major insurances. Psychological Consultants for the DDS review and evaluate evidence in adult and child claims for Social Security Disability and provide consultation to DDS staff regarding psychological impairments.
