Psychologist or Neuropsychologist Needed for Private Practice


Neuropsychologist or Psychologist needed for busy assessment based Private Practice that is located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. I am looking to hire 1 full-time Psychologist / Neuropsychologist and 1 part-time (around 20 hours per week) Psychologist / Neuropsychologist. Must be licensed or license eligible in South Carolina. The candidate must be able to provide psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment services for children / adolescents, adults, or both. The type of patients that I will be able to provide are those who are seeking evaluations for ADHD, Learning Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, Other Neurological Disorders, general psychological clarification, and persons presenting for exam for other purposes (e.g., Bariatric Surgery, Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery). The candidate does not need to be proficient in all such exams, but minimally needs to be able to independently perform ADHD / LD exams. You will also have the opportunity to provide psychological / neuropsychological services for any other populations that are within your area of expertise. I will help you as needed to build such referrals. The ideal candidate must also be able to provide some limited psychological therapy services, behavior parent training, or other consultative services. Reimbursement will be a generous fee split with incentives for productivity. I will provide office space, access to a large library of neuropsychological / psychological / forensic test instruments, scoring software, testing protocols, pay per use protocols / scoring, phone, fax, internet, website, marketing, computers, other supplies, scheduling, full administrative support (I have a full-time office manager), billing services, and your business license fee. I will help you become credentialed on insurance panels as needed; I have higher negotiated rates with several panels. I will introduce you to referral sources. I will also provide whatever other mentorship and guidance that is needed. I am highly motivated to see you succeed!

Greenville Health System: Neuropsychologist

Greenville Health System (GHS), the largest healthcare provider in South Carolina, and the Neuropsychology Department of Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital are seeking a full-time Rehab / Clinical Neuropsychologist. The Neuropsychology Department provides care to patients across Greenville Health System, spanning acute care consults to outpatient treatment. The Inpatient Neuropsychology Service provides assessment, intervention, education and behavioral management services to patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders. The patient population served includes those in acute stages of medical and neurological illness, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury and amputation. While the role is primarily focused upon inpatient intervention, approximately 20-25% of the provider’s time will also be spent conducting comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological evaluations on adult patients with diverse disorders, including neurodegenerative disorders, movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, traumatic brain injury, and psychological disorders.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience with a wide variety of disorders and excel in a collaborative team environment. To be considered for the position applicants must have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with additional experience and specialization in rehabilitation and neuropsychology. Completion of a two year formal post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology is strongly desired. Applicants must be eligible to obtain licensure as a Psychologist in South Carolina. Eligibility for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology is highly desirable.
