2017 Academic Day

Over the past 20 years, the South Carolina Psychological Association has hosted hundreds of students, professors, and other psychology professionals and leaders at our annual Academic Day events.

The 2017 Academic Day will feature:

  • The “I am Psyched!” traveling museum exhibit from APA that focuses on the contributions of women of color to the field of psychology http://www.apa.org/pi/women/iampsyched/default.aspx
  • A keynote address by Dr. Shari Miles-Cohen, Senior Director of APA’s Women’s Programs Office
  • A panel discussion of career and graduate school opportunities in psychology and related fields including women and women of color in psychology
  • Student quiz bowl competitions for 2 year and 4 year schools
